Grand Banks 60 Added to Range
Grand Banks have announced the latest addition to their range of yachts, the Grand Banks 60. This new craft incorporates the latest marine technologies, from construction to propulsion and manoeuvring systems.
To make the yacht strong, light and thus more efficient, the entire deck and cabin house are fully infused using high-quality carbon fibre.
The standard twin 800hp Volvo D13 diesels provide a top speed of 31 knots with a 25-knot cruising speed at 2020rpm. Optional 900hp Volvo Penta IPS 1200s can provide a top speed of 36 knots.
The GB 60 measures 65ft 4in overall, has a beam of 19ft 2in and draws less than 4ft if equipped with the optional IPS pods, making this a large, comfortable yacht with an interior volume that makes extended stays practical for owners and their guests, and enabling it to explore waters less frequented by craft with a deeper draught.
