Organisers British Marine have revealed that 98% of the available exhibitor space at the show has already been filled, despite having a larger footprint than ever before. “Bookings for the 2022 show have been phenomenal. We’re nearly at capacity, even with an enlarged footprint both on land and on the water”, commented Lesley Robinson, CEO, British Marine.
Covering some 70,000+ square meters with some 550 exhibiting brands, so far, 650 craft, and Europe’s largest purpose-built show marina, visitors will enjoy an amazing day out, whether experienced boaters or newcomers to the sport.
All the major international brands will be showing their latest gleaming sailing yachts and powerboats on the water. Exhibitors this year include show regulars Sunseeker International, Princess Motor Yachts, Fairline, Dufour and Prestige Yachts, Oyster, Fjord, Jeanneau Sail & Power range, Beneteau Sail & Power range, Spirit Yachts, Hanse, Dehler and Moody sailing yachts.
There are also many newcomers at the show this year including bluewater cruising Solaris Yachts from Italy, slick race-ready Corby Yachts from Cowes, dinghies to suit every size and ability from Hartley Boats, and the latest in high-technology powerboats from Twisted Marine.
The show will see a number of world debuts, including the ultra-modern Archipelago 47 catamaran, the sea-angler’s Pilothouse 25 from Orkney Boats and for adventurers and explorers the Arksen 45, designed to travel to all corners of the world.
To make navigating around the show easy, there are sector specific zones including watersports, dinghy, classic and dayboats, with many leading brands on show including RS Sailing, Topper, Fusion, Cornish Crabbers and Drascombe.
With visitors always keen to buy equipment and gear, there’s plenty of choice with Force 4 Chandlery, Jimmy Green Marine and Bainbridge Marine all crammed with the latest ranges. Or seek out some exclusive holiday essentials from Venus Seychelles Beachwear and pause to select stunning seascapes and artwork from Pankhurst Gallery.
Amongst the myriad of stands selling everything from SUPs to accessories, footwear to fleeces, electronics to watches, ropes to fenders, visitors will also enjoy exciting and innovative on water and land-based displays and talks, with opportunities to ask the experts and chat with like-minded enthusiasts, or just to sit, relax and enjoy the vibe at the many hospitality areas serving a range of hot and cold drinks and delicious street food.
