A New Era for Beneteau’s Gran Turismo Range

Beneteau has revealed the first models in its renewed Gran Turismo range, the Gran Turismo 35 and Gran Turismo 40 Coupe. Designed to transform the express cruiser segment, these boats blend modern living spaces with a refined driving experience.

Gran Turismo 35: Open-Plan Villa Living

The Gran Turismo 35 introduces a “villa living” approach at sea, with flexible spaces for relaxation and entertainment. Hinge-down balconies extend the aft deck, while convertible seating fore and aft becomes wide sun pads, enhancing the outdoor experience.

At the helm, ergonomics are carefully considered for confident driving. Standard power comes from twin Mercury Verado 300cv outboards with 370L fuel tanks, delivering over 41 knots. An upgrade to Mercury Verado 350cv outboards is also available. A GTS version is planned for 2026.

Gran Turismo 40 Coupe: Versatility and Luxury

The Gran Turismo 40 Coupe offers a choice of outboard or sterndrive engines, and open-plan or enclosed cabins. The aft area features an L-shaped seating layout with an aft-facing wet bar and integrated appliances, perfect for entertaining.

A foredeck sunpad with flip-up seating and premium finishes throughout ensure comfort. Outboard models use twin Mercury Verado 400cv engines with 1200L petrol capacity, reaching over 35 knots. Sterndrive options include twin Yanmar 8LV 320cv diesels with 805L capacity and speeds over 32 knots.

Design Ethos and Alpine Partnership

Calm interior spaces embrace the Japanese design philosophy of simplicity, or “Kanso“, while the sleek exterior lines reflect “Yugen“—grace on the water. A partnership with Alpine brings unique styling options, including Signal Grey hulls, Black accents on fittings and engine covers, and Navy Blue detailing throughout the interior.

World Premiere in Cannes

The Gran Turismo 35 and 40 Coupe will debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2025. Exclusive customer sea trials are set for Antibes on 29–30 August 2025.
