Evolution of a Proven Concept

BENETEAU has unveiled the Grand Trawler 63, a refined successor to the Grand Trawler 62. Drawing on the success of the previous model—27 yachts delivered—the new 63 redefines long-distance cruising with subtle elegance and thoughtful innovation. Designed to offer more than just comfort and range, it delivers a quieter, more intuitive experience tailored for extended time on the water.

A Thoughtful Redesign

Measuring just under 19 metres, the Grand Trawler 63 retains the fuel-efficient, full displacement hull designed by MICAD Naval Architects. It offers an impressive range of up to 900 nautical miles at 9 knots with a 10% fuel reserve. But it’s not just about the numbers. The yacht introduces a redrawn helm inspired by the Swift Trawler 54, with floating MFD displays and upgraded electric Xenta steering for enhanced responsiveness.

Quiet Comfort at the Core

One of the standout features is the emphasis on noise reduction. Sleipner fin stabilisers come as standard, ensuring a stable and calm experience both underway and at anchor. An optional Silent Boat Pack further minimises ambient noise, complemented by reinforced soundproofing in the crew quarters, lazarette, and engine room—making serenity a standard, not a luxury.

A Yacht That Adapts to You

BENETEAU has elevated the level of standard equipment: the Sleipner fins, Luxe Pack, AGM service batteries, and a MAN spares box are now included as baseline features. The interior offers a choice of three or four cabins with upgraded bathrooms, improved storage solutions, and options like a Texan-style BBQ or modular black flybridge. Built at the Monfalcone shipyard in Italy, the Grand Trawler 63 represents the brand’s most complete offering yet for those seeking relaxed, long-distance cruising.
