Evene Tenders Sets New Sustainability Benchmark with Origin Series

Evene Tenders has completed a full life cycle assessment (LCA) of its Origin Series, marking a milestone in environmentally responsible yacht tender design. Developed in partnership with MarineShift360 and following ISO14044 standards, the assessment offers full transparency on embedded emissions and sets new benchmarks in eco-design for the marine industry.

Proven Impact Reductions Across Key Materials

As a sister brand to Williams Jet Tenders, Evene has prioritised sustainability from the outset. Every material and process in the Origin Series was tested against Evene’s six-point criteria for carbon impact, financial viability, ethical sourcing, and performance. The results include:

  • Eco-upholstery backing made from 100% recycled PET bottles: up to 12.5 kg CO₂ savings and 6.2 kg of landfill waste avoided per metre.
  • Cork decking: offers a 129% CO₂e reduction over synthetic teak, while being lighter and regenerative.
  • Recycled PET foam core: reduces emissions by up to 32% compared to PVC alternatives.
  • Petestep hull design: improves efficiency, reducing fuel consumption by up to 15% at cruising speeds.
  • HVO 100 integration: up to 97% lower net CO₂ emissions versus diesel.

Transparent Reporting and Real-World Equivalents

The carbon footprint of each vessel in the Origin range has been made public. The Origin 57 emits 17,840 kg CO₂ over its production life—comparable to the annual energy use of seven homes. The Origin 71 emits 20,040 kg—equivalent to eight homes. Factory emissions (Scope 1 and 2) for the Williams Marine Group are also available to view online.

Forward-Looking Innovation

Evene’s sustainability drive doesn’t end at build. The brand is actively working to incorporate end-of-life analysis, circular design principles, and future propulsion alternatives—including zero-emission technologies. Recycled materials and natural fibres will play an increasing role in future models, ensuring environmental impact remains a top design priority.

“This is not simply a sustainability initiative — it’s a long-term transformation”

Tom Dowdell - Head of Marketing.

The Origin 57 and 71 will be shown at Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show.
