Designed in collaboration with RWD, first edition delivered to Feadship superyacht
Vandal Marine has unveiled the Vandal 60 Chase, its largest and most advanced model yet. Developed alongside award-winning superyacht designers RWD, the new foil-assisted catamaran combines robust utility with refined design. Delivered as a chase boat to an 80-metre-plus Feadship, the Vandal 60 signals the brand’s expansion into high-performance support craft for large yachts.
This 19.7-metre vessel builds on the success of Vandal’s 46 and 50 Explorer models, retaining their rugged dependability while offering enhanced comfort, space and design flexibility. Capable of 40 knots and cruising efficiently at 30 knots with a 700NM range, it’s available with either quad Mercury V12 outboards or Volvo IPS/Hamilton Jet inboards.
Ben Mennem, Founder of Vandal Marine, describes the 60 as “a highly capable chase boat for superyachts”, engineered for long-distance guest transfers and adventurous exploration. Ollie Stacey, Head of Yacht Design at RWD, called it “a robust, confident vessel—versatile in function, refined in execution.”
Built for Performance and Luxury
Designed specifically as a chase boat, the Vandal 60 features a semi-enclosed pilothouse with panoramic visibility, a spacious flybridge, and a full-beam open aft deck with integrated tracks for flexible layouts. Accommodation is offered for up to six guests across three cabins.
Innovative use of high-strength alloys and an integrated rigid foil—carrying 40% of the boat’s weight—boosts fuel efficiency, enhances ride comfort, and ensures access to remote locations. The foil also reduces slamming and spray, delivering a noticeably smoother ride.
Aboard the first unit, the captain reported excellent versatility: “It’s ideal as a long-distance tender, floating watersports base and entertaining platform.”
With customisable layouts, sustainable materials and purposeful design. Vandal describe the 60 as being more than just a tender—rather a serious extension of the superyacht experience.
