Falcon Tenders, the British specialist builder of full-custom superyacht tenders, kickstarts 2024 with a raft of new deliveries. The Southampton boatbuilder brings its expertise to the fore showcasing its focus on artisanal craftsmanship, elegant design, and the highest build quality with two delivered custom designs, and a third delivery set for April.

The first of the Falcon Tenders 2024 reveals are a pair of matching 10m full custom tenders, delivered in February to a newly refitted 87m motor yacht built by Lürssen in 2012. The all-new Falcon tenders — one open, one fully enclosed limousine — are designed to complement the famously private yacht’s super contemporary new interior, with crisp lines and bright lighting bouncing off stark white upholstery.

Rich mahogany flooring contrasts with white caulking and mirror polished stainless steel details. Guest entry to the limousine is via bi-parting doors and a flush fitting pop-n-slide tinted glass roof. The open boasts a handsome internal beam that maximises guest space with a lowering mirrored glass Bimini, and a folding compound curved windshield that wraps around the double helm and matches the limousine’s mirrored glass.

Both tenders’ hull, deck and mouldings are constructed from green epoxy composites for a more sustainable build. They also feature custom stainless steel lift points to suit the yacht’s stowage arrangement. Each tender accommodates up to 14 guests and carries rapid top speeds, with the limousine hitting 35 knots and the open a blistering 40 knots.

The captain of the 87m comments: “Thanks to the Falcon team on the creation of these two masterpieces, I’m looking forward to putting them to the test this season. From the build process through to final delivery, it has been a pleasure working with Mark and his team.”

Next on the horizon is Falcon Tenders’ April delivery of its all-new 9.75m limousine tender, which has been commissioned by the owner of 64m Sanlorenzo Project KD. The tender, which is project managed by Superyacht Tenders and Toys, features revolutionary exterior laser lighting from Fibr8, as first revealed on Falcon’s stand at last year’s Monaco Yacht Show.

The light-filled interior, which has remained under wraps until now at the request of the owner, enjoys cream leather upholstery, branded nubuck scatter cushions, and co-ordinated Majilite finishes with hand-stitched details. Alcantara headlining is complemented by custom macassar ebony veneered bulkheads, a polished porcelain floor, a large compound curved glass skylight and stainless steel finishes with warm white accent lighting. The yacht’s ‘KD’ initials are laid into the tender’s teak exterior decking with illuminated initials to each side.

The profile is enhanced with a pair of stunning mirror-polished 316 stainless steel wire eroded and five-axis milled custom aft cleats that resemble deck jewellery rather than hardware.

“We are delighted to be able to reveal the quality and calibre of our work at Falcon Tenders with two incredible deliveries, starting with a pair of highly unique custom tenders for a yacht of real calibre, and soon following that with an innovative limousine for a highly discerning client,” says Mark Pascoe, founder of Falcon Tenders. “We are dedicated to designing and building the best tenders on the market, and the commission of three private craft for such prestigious yachts underlines that mission.”

Both sets of deliveries come hard on the heels of Falcon’s attendance as an official sponsor at this year’s Superyacht Design Festival, which took place in the Austrian town of Kitzbühel in January and is attended by the frontrunners of the yachting industry. Visitors were treated to a full scale model of Falcon’s Gladius Limousine tender complete with working gullwing doors, a light flooded panoramic interior and a newly unveiled interior. Designed by Sturge & Toth, the design represents the next era of modern classics.

“Falcon Tenders’ enquiry stream has now reached an all time high, with increased confidence and market presence helping to steadily build the brand,” adds Pascoe.
