The Trusted Companion for Every Sea Passage

The Reeds Nautical Almanac 2026, compiled by Perrin Towler and Simon Jollands, remains the definitive annual reference for yachtsmen and motorboaters. Known for its accuracy and scope, the latest edition continues to improve on its trusted format with more than 45,000 annual updates.

What’s New for 2026

This year’s almanac introduces several user-friendly enhancements:

  • QR codes in the Marina Guide now link directly to marina websites for up-to-date access to berth details, contacts and facilities.
  • Official continental ports of entry are clearly marked, including French marinas authorised to welcome arrivals from outside the EU.
  • The Weather chapter has been fully revised by meteorologist and ocean sailor Simon Rowell.
  • Updates cover new wind farms and completed marina developments at Dover, Millport, and Noss on Dart.
  • A new glossary of key terms has been added for easier understanding of technical language.

Comprehensive and Practical Content

Presented in a refreshed layout for quicker reference, the 2026 edition includes:

  • 700 harbour chartlets
  • Tide tables and tidal streams
  • Buoyage and lights
  • 7,500 GPS waypoints
  • Passage notes and distance tables
  • Radio, weather, safety and first aid information

Each copy also comes with the free Reeds Marina Guide, and up-to-date navigation changes are available between January and June at www.reedsnauticalalmanac.co.uk
