METSTRADE 2024 in Amsterdam is one of the world’s largest trade fairs for the maritime industry, with a special focus on marine equipment, modern technologies and innovations. From November 19 to 21, 2024, more than 1,500 exhibitors from numerous countries presented their latest products and discussed the future on the water in exciting panel discussions. This year’s 36th edition of the show once again focused on environmentally friendly propulsion solutions and sustainable technologies.
Broad range of applications
Visitors were able to discover Torqeedo’s extensive product portfolio of electric propulsion systems from 1 to 200 kW: from the new Travel Family for small leisure boats to the highly efficient Cruise systems for sail and power boats up to twelve tons to the customized propulsion solutions of the Customized Solutions Unit with the modular Deep Blue systems for larger boats and yachts. The Customized Solutions Unit team, which serves professional boatbuilders and nautical engineers, were on hand to demonstrate how Torqeedo’s innovative propulsion systems optimize all the energy requirements of the entire marine ecosystem – from propulsion and power generation to seamless power distribution on board.
“METSTRADE 2024 in Amsterdam attracts thousands of visitors every year and puts the spotlight on innovations and developments in the maritime industry. This year, METS once again focused on the sustainable and clean transformation of the maritime sector. This clearly shows that the demand for climate-neutral solutions is there and continues to grow.
