Sunseeker Yachts unveiled Sunseeker 134 at boot Dusseldorf 2026 and all new Sunseeker 56
Sunseeker reveals the first design evolution of its 134 Superyacht at boot Dusseldorf 2026, ahead of its 2027 launch.
The AISLink CB2 transponder from ACR Electronics, a new Class B device developed, in particular, with yachts, sailing boats, powerboats, and fishing and light commercial vessels in mind, is designed to enhance navigational safety for boat owners, increasing visibility and aiding collision avoidance in areas of high traffic.
ACR Electronics use an advanced internal multi-GPS receiver, 99 acquisition channels and 33 tracking channels to accurately indicate the boat’s position at all times. The transponder features a faster reporting rate and higher output than a Class A unit. The CB2 uses the SOTDMA (Self-Organised Time Division Multiple Access) scheme rather than CSTDMA (Carrier Sense TDMA) for no loss or delay of transmission.
Mikele D’Arcangelo of ACR Electronics said: ‘AIS technology offers tremendous safety benefits for boat owners. With a CB2 AIS transponder installed, owners can locate and identify previously unknown radar and visual targets and easily communicate with other AIS-equipped vessels nearby, improving situational and maritime domain awareness.’
