Alessandro Martorana Appointed Creative Director of Lomac Atelier

Lomac Milano returns to the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival with the unveiling of three GranTurismo maxi-RIBs, led by the world premiere of the GranTurismo 12.5 AMare Limited Edition. This striking model is the first creation under the direction of renowned fashion designer GranTurismo, newly appointed Artistic Director of Lomac Atelier. 

Lomac Atelier is the Milanese shipyard’s exclusive service for owners seeking truly bespoke yachts. Officially introduced in Düsseldorf earlier this year, it now takes form with the AMare Limited Edition. Based on the iconic GranTurismo 12.5, this showpiece merges aesthetic innovation with proven performance. 

Martorana, famed for dressing celebrities, athletes and entrepreneurs, brings a couture approach to yacht design. His emphasis on materials, detailing and personalisation has been translated into the AMare.

The Limited Edition stands out for customised colourways, bespoke upholstery, sartorial stitching and matching engine livery. Interiors mirror haute couture precision, while performance is assured by twin Yamaha XTO 450 hp engines, combining power with efficiency at sea. 

Alongside the 12.5 AMare, Lomac will also present: 

• GranTurismo 12.0 – powered by three 300 hp Mercury engines, balancing performance, comfort and flexible deck design. 

• GranTurismo 14.0 X – the flagship model, driven by three Yamaha XTO 450 hp engines. Offering top speeds of up to 60 knots, it features spacious layouts, ergonomic solutions and premium finishes for medium-range cruising. 

The Cannes showcase is supported by Italian luxury partners including Signature Kitchen Suite, Riva1920, Maso Martis, Poggesi and Crespi Milano. Founded in 1960 and still family-led, Lomac designs and builds 58 models across six series, distributed in more than 20 countries.
