The Aquila 46 Coupe has secured a nomination for the 2026 European Powerboat of the Year award in the catamaran category, marking another milestone for the model since its debut earlier this year.

Announced by German marine publication BOOTE magazine, the nomination places the 46 Coupe among five shortlisted power catamarans. A professional jury will select the winners, with results revealed during boot Düsseldorf in January.
The 46 Coupe blends modern coupe styling with a layout created for comfort and adaptable cruising. Its 17 foot 11 inch beam delivers generous social spaces and refined accommodation, including two full cabins with private en suites. From day trips to extended cruising, the model is designed to meet a wide range of leisure expectations. Performance and efficiency are boosted by Aquila’s carbon fibre Hydro Glide semi foiling system.
Owners can choose either twin 600 horsepower Mercury Verado V12 outboards or 480 horsepower Volvo Penta D6 DPI sterndrive inboards. With a fuel capacity of 616 gallons and CE Category B certification, the 46 Coupe is configured for offshore capability.

The nomination follows the model’s win in the Power Catamaran Under 15m category at the 2025 Yacht Style Awards in Singapore. The 46 Coupe made its global debut at the Miami International Boat Show in February before its European introduction in Cannes, where the inboard version premiered.
Receiving this nomination from the European boating industry validates our approach with the Coupe series. The 46 Coupe was designed to deliver genuine performance alongside yacht-level comfort and features, a balance that resonates with boaters who refuse to compromise.
Features include a spacious aft cockpit with an integrated bar, an electric opening sunroof, panoramic glazing and a carbon fibre bow door. A double stepped hull works with the foiling system to enhance cruising efficiency.
Winners will be announced in early 2026.
