Aquila Catamarans Debuted Two New Models at FLIBS 2025

Aquila Catamarans unveiled two significant new models at the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, held from 29 October to 2 November. The global debut of the Aquila 36 Molokai and the Americas premiere of the Aquila 46 Yacht headlined an impressive line-up that also featured the 54 Yacht, 50 Yacht, 47 Molokai, and 42 Coupe.

Making its world debut, the 36 Molokai redefines the 36-foot fishing catamaran segment. Designed in collaboration with Peart Yacht Design, this purpose-built offshore platform combines serious fishing capability with surprising versatility and comfort.

A standout feature is its enclosed cabin with private head – a rare find in this size category. The space can be air-conditioned using an optional off-grid lithium battery system, extending day trips into overnight stays. Side hull windows bring light and ventilation, while a single-level deck ensures safe, unobstructed movement throughout.

Standard features include a side tuna door, leaning post with bait prep station, and an easy-access diving ladder. A full walk-around helm area, triple seating, and a robust carbon fibre hardtop – strong enough to support an optional tower – reflect Aquila’s practical, user-focused engineering.

Following its global debut at Cannes, the Aquila 46 Yacht made its Americas premiere at FLIBS. Designed for extended cruising and entertaining, it combines luxury interiors, cutting-edge technology, and the stability of Aquila’s proven twin-hull design.

The 23’3″ beam creates exceptional volume, with three, four, or five-cabin layouts available. “This yacht delivers the spaciousness, capability, and luxury our customers expect from Aquila,” said Jean Raas.
