TEAM BLU BANCA (D-20), helmed by Serafino Barlesi and Joakim Kumlin, defended their World Championship crown with a commanding performance across all heats.
The competition was fierce, but we kept our focus and pushed through, Arendal delivered the perfect stage for a championship—we’re proud to take the title home again.
Second place went to TEAM CRB OFFSHORE (D-96), with Pinelli François and Jan Trygve Braaten showing consistent pace and tactical skill. TEAM JOHNSSON (D-101), led by Marcus Johnsson and Jussi Myllymäki, secured third, thrilling crowds with aggressive racing and determination.

Beyond the headline class, the festival spotlighted youth divisions and smaller boats, bringing close-fought action and proving the sport’s future is in safe hands.
Off the racecourse, Arendal’s waterfront transformed into a lively festival village. Visitors enjoyed food stalls, live music, family-friendly activities, and a welcoming atmosphere that united locals and tourists.
This year’s Arendal Water Festival was everything we dreamed of and more. We saw world-class competition, rising stars, and thousands of smiles onshore. We’re proud to have hosted such a memorable championship.
As boats are stored and the harbour returns to calm, the excitement of 2025 ensures anticipation for next year’s festival is already building. Offshore racing in Arendal has never felt stronger.
