Atlantis Marine, who have been producing the Atlantis range of 16 to 26 ft offshore boats in Guernsey for over 20 years, have announced the addition of a new entry-level model, the Atlantis 16 cc.
The new model follows the same design profile as the other models, which are based on a deep-vee hull design with large reverse chines aimed at providing a smooth and dry ride. The hull design incorporates a fine-entry bow, and a larger forward hull surface area provides additional bow lift, helping to eliminate bow drop in overfall conditions.
The layout has been kept as multifunctional as possible, with clean lines and maximum floor space allowing quick and easy movement throughout the boat. The 16 cc features a high freeboard of 70cm, and access into the water is via a large, level surface at the transom. An in-built fuel tank with a 90-litre capacity enables a cruising range of approximately 100 miles when fitted with a mid-range engine.
