BENETEAU Unveils the New Gran Turismo 50 Flagship

BENETEAU has revealed its latest flagship, the Gran Turismo 50, marking a new chapter in the brand’s 140-year history. The launch follows the recent announcement of the Gran Turismo 35 and 40, underlining the company’s ambition to redefine express cruising.

The Gran Turismo 50 has been conceived as a complete reinvention of the express cruiser. Its design focuses on layout, ergonomics and modern naval architecture, creating a versatile platform for today’s owners. From sunrise to sunset, the boat offers dramatic exterior spaces and flexible areas that convert seamlessly from cruising to anchoring at the touch of a button.

Eric LeVine, BENETEAU Motor Yachts Sales Director, explained that the project was driven by customer feedback as well as the company’s long heritage.

Onboard, the Gran Turismo 50 brings together BENETEAU’s heritage with Japanese design principles of Kanso simplicity and Yugen grace. Product Manager Robert Chaffer describes it as “a refined blend…where elegance and balance meet…thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces.” The result is a yacht that combines “villa living” comfort with exhilarating performance.

Designed with naval architect Bill Dixon, the hull is ultramodern, fuel-efficient and responsive. The driving experience reflects the Gran Turismo spirit with helm ergonomics tailored for comfort and manoeuvrability, enabling owners to travel swiftly in style and ease.

A partnership with Alpine brings a special edition of the Gran Turismo 50. Distinguished by a Blue Navy hull, deep black styling and a limited-edition steering wheel, the Alpine version delivers a striking presence on the water and at the marina.

The Gran Turismo 50 will make its world premiere at the Paris Nautic Show from 26–30 November, followed by an appearance at BOOT Düsseldorf in January.
