High-performance searchlight debuted at boot Dusseldorf

Deutsche Yachten member Yachtlite is presented the Yacht Beam LED Performance Series Searchlight in Germany for the first time at boot Dusseldorf.

Yachtlite distributes Yacht Beam products across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Poland. The launch marks the introduction of the Yacht Beam LED.AI searchlight to the German market.

High-output LED performance

At the core of the new series is a light array delivering 750,000-1,500,000 candle power in floodlight and spotlight modes, with a maximum range of 2,500 metres and a 120-metre beam diameter.

In Floodlight Mode, output is rated at 250,000-350,000 candle power, with a 200-metre range and 75-metre beam diameter. The system operates on 12-24VDC and emits a 6000K colour temperature designed for on-water visibility.

Precision control and safety features

Optical LEDs allow independent or simultaneous spotlight and floodlight operation. Integrated SOS signalling and non-lethal anti-intrusion strobe lighting are also included.

An illuminated joystick with colour-coded buttons provides control of rotation and elevation. Users can select rotation speeds of 1, 12 or 30 degrees per second, with elevation from +15 to -27 degrees at 3 degrees per second.

A 90-degree Forward Looking Sweep scans ahead from port to starboard to help detect vessels, buoys and other hazards. Continuous 360-degree slip rotation enables uninterrupted scanning. Instant-On Centered Forward Beam and auto-dimming functions are also integrated.

Constructed from marine-grade aluminium, the unit is IP-65 rated and incorporates thermal management technology for operation in demanding marine conditions.
