Nordkapp Enduro 830 claims boot Dusseldorf award
Nordkapp’s Enduro 830 claims top honours at the 2026 Motorboat Awards in Dusseldorf, securing Best Sportsboats up to 30ft.
Dometic’s successful partnership with adventure boatbuilder Axopar is set to continue, as in 2025, the latter’s 37 XC Cross Cabin model will be equipped with the newly launched Dometic NRX S refrigeration unit, which will also be available for installation on other Axopar models. Dometic have been the preferred supplier since Axopar’s inception in January 2014, marking 10 years of partnership.
The Dometic NRX S, with its 46L of cool storage and removable 4.4L freezer compartment, is designed for maximum efficiency, thanks to its compact compressor and electric module, which consumes just 0.22kW per 24 hours and can be easily powered by solar. The compressor speed adapts to ambient temperatures, offering efficient cooling in all climate conditions.
Juhani Nikkanen, Materials Project Manager at Axopar Boats, remarked: ‘We chose to integrate the Dometic NRX Series into our AX37 for a number of key reasons, including the fact that its energy efficiency aligns with our sustainability goals, and its build quality ensures reliable performance, which is crucial for our customers’ peace of mind.’
