A Next Generation of All-Electric RIBS

Two leaders in marine innovation, EPTechnologies and RIB Unlimited, announced the premiere of the all-electric RIB Unlimited 8H, debuting at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025.

The 8H represents a new era for electric high-speed monohulls. Powered by EPTechnologies’ Falcon 130 kW outboard and a 90 kWh battery pack, this lightweight, high-performance RIB combines speed, agility, and extended range with exceptional energy efficiency.

Innovative Propulsion and Design

Developed exclusively for electric power, the Falcon outboard features a 360° rotating lower unit, offering outstanding manoeuvrability. Its compact, streamlined design reduces drag, optimises onboard space, and enhances overall efficiency. Together with RIB Unlimited’s ultralight vacuum-infused hull and advanced lamination techniques, the result is a RIB capable of achieving a target cruising speed of around 25 knots.

Sustainability is also a key factor. The hull incorporates recycled plastics, significantly reducing environmental impact while maintaining strength and rigidity.

With the Falcon and RIB Unlimited’s ultralight hull, we are proving that electric boats can go faster, farther, and cleaner than ever before.

Kasper Falkenberg, CEO of EPTechnologies

By joining forces, we’ve combined cutting-edge propulsion with decades of expertise in energy-efficient hulls. The result is an electric RIB that delivers performance, range and sustainability without compromise.
