Collaboration Showcased at Southampton and METSTRADE 2025

Flexiteek International has announced a partnership with AST Semi-Custom Carbon Tenders, with the collaboration set to debut at two major marine events this autumn.

Visitors to the Southampton Boat Show (19–28 September 2025) will be able to see an AST semi-custom carbon tender fitted with Flexiteek’s 3.5mm synthetic teak decking on the Flexiteek International stand. The showcase will continue at METSTRADE in Amsterdam (18–20 November 2025).

Innovation with Flexiteek 3.5mm

The tender will feature Flexiteek’s 3.5mm decking, now enhanced with an innovative 3M tape system. This new method reduces weight and installation time by eliminating adhesive curing, while preserving the look and durability Flexiteek is recognised for.

The development offers particular advantages for performance craft, where weight savings and speed of installation are vital. According to Adam Ramsden, CEO at Flexiteek Group:

“The 3M tape system can provide weight-savings and a faster installation time, and is especially suited for smaller surface areas.”

Craftsmanship Meets Cutting-Edge Materials

AST’s lightweight carbon construction and bespoke design will complement Flexiteek’s modern decking solution. Together, the two brands will highlight how advanced materials can combine with fine craftsmanship to deliver style, practicality, and performance.

The joint showcase reflects both companies’ commitment to innovation and quality, providing designers, owners, and marine professionals with insight into the latest developments in synthetic decking and high-performance tender construction.
