Nordkapp Enduro 830 claims boot Dusseldorf award
Nordkapp’s Enduro 830 claims top honours at the 2026 Motorboat Awards in Dusseldorf, securing Best Sportsboats up to 30ft.
Poole-based Gibbs Quay Boat Sales have become the UK’s sole distributor for Brazilian brand Schaefer Yachts. Schaefer are the largest yacht manufacturer in South America, having built 3,500 vessels to date, ranging from 30ft to 85ft. The business was originally based on the banks of the River Thames, near Shepperton in Middlesex, before moving to its current prime site in 2012.
The Schaefer 303 – Gibbs Quay Boat Sales in Poole has become the UK’s sole distributor of the Brazilian Schaefer Yachts.
Don Bissessar, who bought the company in 1986, remarked: ‘Schaefer Yachts fit in well with us not only because they meet our high standards but because they are an established manufacturer with an impeccable reputation and are distinct from the other brands in the marketplace. Having visited the factory and seen the build and design process, I am totally confident in the brand and the people behind it.
