Grand Banks Yachts has announced the launch of the new Grand Banks 62, continuing the company’s 70-year heritage of designing long-distance cruising yachts that aim to combine speed, efficiency and range. The Grand Banks 62 reflects the brand’s ongoing development of performance cruising motoryachts, building on proven hull design and construction methods.
Depending on engine selection, the Grand Banks 62 delivers a top speed of 30 knots and a high cruise of 27 knots. At displacement speeds, range extends to 2,000 nautical miles at 10 knots with a 10 percent reserve. At 20 knots, average fuel burn is quoted at 38 gallons per hour, positioning the yacht at the leading edge of efficiency within its class.
