Axopar 37 tops US boat sales for second year running
Axopar 37 secures top US sales position again, highlighting sustained demand and long-term appeal in a competitive market.
Returning to MDL’s Queen Anne’s Battery Marina from 16th to 18th June 2022, the Green Tech Boat Show is a dedicated platform for the marine industry to highlight its green products and technologies, allowing consumers to understand the sustainable options available to them.
At last year’s event, Maritime UK SW hosted a Clean Maritime Summit, which was attended by Maritime Minister Robert Courts MP. The summit brought together stakeholders to showcase innovation in clean marine technologies that could accelerate the cleaning up of the marine industry.
Building on last year’s successful partnership, MDL are collaborating with Maritime UK SW to introduce a new trade aspect to the Green Tech Boat Show on the Friday, which will include an innovation hub.
‘The innovation hub is designed to get marine business together to explore the different ways that the industry can reduce its carbon emissions and achieve net zero,’ said Tim Mayer, MDL’s Sales and Marketing Director. ‘Decarbonisation is not something that can be achieved without cooperation and market demand. For example, for the electric boating market to develop, there needs to be an electric charging network in place before we’ll see consumer demand for electric craft.’
Sheldon Ryan, Maritime UK SW’s coordinator, commented: ‘We’re delighted to be partnering once again with MDL’s Green Tech Boat Show, as the show’s aims align wholeheartedly with our organisation’s. We’re working to create a Clean Maritime Road Map, establishing local charging and e-propulsion ecosystems to build a clean marine environment. This is in everyone’s best interest and the Green Tech Boat Show is at the forefront of this.’
Maritime UK SW will also be exhibiting at the Green Tech Boat Show on the Saturday, ready to discuss their key capabilities of promoting innovation and collaboration, business support skills and investment.
