Nordkapp introduces the Airborne 5.4 compact performance RIB
Nordkapp has revealed the Airborne 5.4, a compact new RIB designed to deliver serious performance in a practical 5.4m package.
The buyer, introduced by Yacht Partners International, secured an express build slot for June delivery. The funds, initially held in Bitcoin, were converted into euros through BitPay, a cryptocurrency payment processor with European regulatory approval.
Intriguingly, the buyer originally purchased Bitcoin when its value was around $0.03 per coin and has since seen it rise to over $100,000. On the back of this three-million-fold growth, he has decided to set new standards for his quality of life—including buying the Greenline 45 Coupe.
The yacht will be kept in Greece, where its solar panel array can provide up to 13.2kWh on sunny days, enabling extended periods at anchor without generator use. Instead of a third cabin, the owner has opted for an onboard office space.
Greenline Yachts continues to focus on hybrid propulsion, solar power, and sustainable materials in its designs, aligning with its philosophy of responsible yachting.
