Honda Marine UK has unveiled its significantly enhanced high-power 4-cylinder and V6 outboards at the Southampton Boat Show(19–28 September 2025). Making their UK debut on Stand P090, the upgraded BF150 and BF250 engines showcase advanced technology, new styling and refined features designed to improve performance, durability, comfort and efficiency.
The enhancements extend across Honda’s 4-cylinder line (BF115, BF135, BF150) and V6 range (BF200, BF225, BF250). Inspired by the flagship BF350 V8, the refreshed engines feature a sleek exterior available in Aquamarine Silver, Grand Prix White and the new Sporty White finish.
Available with both drive-by-wire and mechanical controls, the updated models integrate advanced systems, including automatic tilt, trim support and cruise control. Exclusive Honda technologies such as Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST™) and Variable Valve Timing & Electronic Control (VTEC®) deliver smoother power, sharper acceleration and greater fuel efficiency.
Designed for leisure, sport and commercial use, the engines use high-rigidity parts for reliability in harsh conditions. Updates have also simplified installation and maintenance, adding to ease of ownership.
For the first time in the UK, visitors can also see the Sporty White version of the BF350 V8.
Honda Marine UK has teamed up with Highfield Boats at Southampton, presenting five Honda-powered Highfield craft alongside Maxima boats and Honwave inflatables. The collaboration highlights complete boat-engine packages, reinforcing Honda Marine’s mission to provide turnkey solutions to meet evolving market demands.
