Honda Marine Europe has launched its upgraded high-power 4-cylinder and V6 outboard engines, strengthening its commitment to performance, reliability and customer engagement. The enhanced models – BF115, BF135, BF150, BF200, BF225 and BF250 – will debut at leading boat shows this autumn, including Hiswa te Water, Cannes, Genoa and Southampton.
The new range draws inspiration from the award-winning Honda BF350 V8, with a sleek exterior, premium finishes and robust engineering. Available in Aquamarine Silver, Grand Prix White and a new Sporty White, the engines combine style with functionality. Customers can choose between drive-by-wire or mechanical control systems, with drive-by-wire models featuring automatic tilt, trim support and cruise control.
Honda’s exclusive technologies are central to the upgrades. Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST™) improves acceleration, while Variable Valve Timing & Electronic Control (VTEC®) ensures smooth power delivery across the rev range. Together, they offer greater fuel efficiency, responsive performance and easier handling.
High-rigidity components and advanced materials improve durability and reliability, while installation and maintenance are simplified. These updates make the engines well-suited to leisure craft, sport applications and commercial vessels.

The upgraded 4-cylinder and V6 outboards will be available through Honda Marine Europe’s dealer network from early 2026.
