A New Chapter for Hylas

Hylas, long respected for its ocean-proven sailing yachts, has expanded into the motor yacht sector with a refined collection of semi-displacement craft. The Hylas M-Series is now available exclusively in Europe through Vortec Marine, based at Swanwick Marina, UK.

The M-Series Line-Up

Built at the Queen Long shipyard in Taiwan, the M-Series comprises the M44, M47, M49 and M58. Each model combines timeless design with true offshore capability. Semi-displacement hulls deliver efficiency and stability across a broad speed range, while interiors are finished to superyacht standards. Large saloon windows, seamless indoor-outdoor transitions and layouts designed for both extended cruising and short escapes define the range.

Standout Performance

The Hylas M47 is a highlight of the fleet. Equipped with twin 370hp diesel outboards, it achieves a top speed of 31 knots and an impressive cruising range of up to 1,500 nautical miles with extended tanks. Modern touches include joystick control, lithium-ion systems and a quiet overnighting setup.

The M44 offers a practical aft-galley arrangement and twin Yanmar inboards, balancing everyday use with sophistication. The larger M49 and M58 deliver further comfort and capability, carrying forward the same meticulous attention to detail.

Exclusive Access in Europe

Vortec Marine, with more than two decades of experience in premium yacht sales and service, now offers European buyers the chance to view and trial the Hylas motor yacht range. The company provides full support, from tailored consultations through to aftercare.

Prices for the M44 start from approximately $1,200,000, excluding shipping and taxes.
