Marcopolo MP12 heads to sea

Marcopolo Adventure Yachts has officially moved its MP12 into the boating market, following its debut at boot Düsseldorf 2026 and the release of its first official images on the water.

The project comes from Rosario Alcaro, CEO of the Aschenez group, already owner of Invictus Yacht and Capoforte, while the styling and design of Marcopolo models are by Roberto Delfanti Design Lab. According to the company, the MP12 is intended for owners who see the sea as part of a wider journey.

The name Marcopolo is synonymous with exploration. The full name of the brand ‘Marcopolo Adventure Yachts’ perfectly captures our vision: boats designed for owners who experience the sea as a journey, rather than simply a destination.

Transformable layout and cruiser format

A central feature of the MP12 is its transformable concept. The layout can move from open to cruiser configuration, including at a later stage, through retrofit-ready structural modules. For this first model, the cruiser version has been chosen, enclosing the hardtop area with large panoramic glazing.

The cockpit includes fold-down side terraces, a large sunpad, a dinette with extendable table, a second sofa, and a bar unit with galley corner, sink and refrigerator. Below deck, the layout includes a configurable dinette, a forward double berth, two wardrobes, a separate shower room, and two additional single berths aft.

Materials and performance

The MP12 uses recycled PET, honeycomb polypropylene and carbon fiber in key structural areas. Its hull has been developed with CFD analysis and features a triple-step design intended to reduce resistance and improve efficiency, while allowing safe cruising at 40 knots.
