First Cannes Appearance for Barcelona-Based Shipyard

Maxim Yachts will make its first appearance at the Cannes Yachting Festival from 9–14 September, exhibiting the Max 43 Comfort at Vieux Port – Pantiero, stand 020. The shipyard, based near Barcelona, launched at last year’s Genoa Boat Show and has since featured at leading international events.

Performance and Design

The 13-metre Max 43 Comfort is part of the brand’s customisable daycruiser range, designed by Alex Cherigny with engineering by Isonaval. Power comes from twin Volvo Penta D6 440 engines, delivering a top speed of 45 knots. The carbon fibre hardtop and helm console reflect the model’s performance focus, while the helm is equipped with twin 16-inch Garmin displays, 11 analogue gauges, and seating for five.

Outdoor Living Spaces

Designed for versatility, the cockpit offers two folding tables and four sofas, one doubling as a portable fridge. Both bow and stern include sunbathing areas. The aft section features two fold-down terraces, adding 50cm of beam on each side to enhance deck space and comfort.

Onboard Comfort and Amenities

The galley is fitted with a ceramic cooktop, sink, and two large refrigerators, with capacity for up to five. A flexible aft dining area includes a double table and lateral seating. Below deck, two double cabins provide accommodation, making the Max 43 Comfort suitable for both day cruising and overnight stays.

Premium Entertainment

A JL Audio sound system, with eight speakers and two amplifiers, ensures high-quality audio throughout. Combined with the model’s open deck layout, it’s designed for socialising at anchor or under way.

Maxim Yachts’ participation at Cannes underlines its growth in the competitive luxury daycruiser market, offering visitors a chance to experience the Max 43 Comfort’s blend of speed, comfort, and design innovation.
