Mercury Marine Unveils V10 425hp Verado and Upgraded 350hp Model

Mercury Marine has expanded its award-winning Verado® outboard range with the launch of the all-new V10 425hp Verado and an enhanced 350hp model. Both engines deliver stronger performance, improved efficiency, and the smooth, quiet operation that defines the Verado line.

All-New 425hp Verado

The 425hp V10 Verado sets a new standard in high-horsepower performance. In testing, it was three seconds faster from 0-30 mph than a 450hp competitor on a 26-foot, 5,000-pound centre-console boat carrying a heavy load. It is also 254 pounds lighter and features a 150-amp alternator, the highest in its class. At cruising speeds, it runs 22% quieter than its 450hp rival.

Enhanced 350hp Verado

The upgraded 350hp V10 delivers improved top speed and acceleration. It achieves 2.7 mph higher top speed than a 350hp competitor under light load conditions and is four seconds quicker from 0-30 mph under heavy load. Its 0-50 mph performance is 15% faster than Mercury’s previous 350hp model, aided by enhanced mid-range torque. The model is 40% quieter at cruise and offers four times the alternator output of a 350hp competitor.

Optimised for Repower and New Builds

Both outboards are built on Mercury’s compact V10 platform, with 26-inch centre-to-centre mounting, making them suitable for repower projects and new builds alike. Standard features include Digital Throttle & Shift, with optional Joystick Piloting for precise handling.

The new V10 425hp and 350hp Verado outboards, alongside the existing 400hp model, are now available through Mercury dealers and Repower Centres.
