Nordkapp Enduro 830 secures new award nomination

The Nordkapp Enduro 830 celebrates a Best for Fun win and a new Motor Boat Awards nomination, marking a milestone for the Norwegian builder.

New award nomination

Nordkapp celebrated a remarkable moment for the Enduro 830, which continues to attract major recognition across the industry. The model has been awarded Best of Boats 2025 in the category Best for Fun, a title that reflects both its capability and the enjoyment it delivers on the water.

In addition to this, the Enduro 830 secured another milestone with a nomination for the Motor Boat Awards 2026, competing in the category Best Sportsboat Motor Yachts up to 30 ft. The accolade acknowledges the strong reception this model has received and the enthusiasm surrounding its performance.

Insights from the design team

Lead designer Espen Thorup credits the boat’s handling for its success. He explains that journalists trialled the boat in rain and 18 m/s winds, returning with smiles despite the conditions.

The Enduro 830 handles incredibly well and remains very forgiving. Many boats lose grip in tight, fast corners, but this one holds its line from entry to exit.

He adds that the model suits multiple roles, including beginners, families and adventure use.

Thorup also highlights the value of feedback from others, along with the contribution of the wider Nordkapp and Frydenbo teams. Head of marketing, Mats Hjørnevik, echoes the sentiment, describing the project as a collective achievement. The Best for Fun category included strong competitors such as De Antonio 29, Wellcraft 38 T-Top, Sea Ray SDX 270 and Four Winns H9.

A standout year for Nordkapp

In addition, the Enduro 830 is nominated for European Powerboat of the Year 2026, reinforcing what has already been a pivotal year. The Motor Boat Awards ceremony will take place in boot Dusseldorf on 20 January 2026.
