Landmark Edition

At 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, horns echoed across Olympic Marine in Lavrio, marking the close of the 5th Olympic Yacht Show – the largest event dedicated to yachting and sea tourism in the Eastern Mediterranean. Bigger, more dynamic, and more international than ever, the 2025 edition set new records for attendance and participation.

Record Attendance and Global Appeal

More than 25,000 visitors explored 140 yachts afloat and over 400 luxury brands. International shipyards, media, and guests from across the globe reinforced the event’s growing international stature. A series of yacht premieres, on-water displays, and engaging side events captured the spirit of a show now recognised among Europe’s most significant yachting gatherings.

Speeches and Honours

The opening ceremony gathered representatives from government, institutions, and the marine industry.

Five years on, the Olympic Yacht Show has evolved into an institution for marine tourism and the leisure boating market. It is not just an event that showcases yachts, but one that connects people, ideas, and businesses – building bridges between the Greek and international markets, and between land and sea.

Gerasimos Gerolimatos, Head of the Organising Committee

Other speakers included George Prokopiou, owner of Olympic Marine; Vassilis Kikilias, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy; Olga Kefalogianni, Minister of Tourism; and Angeliki Varela, President of the Greek National Tourism Organization.

Awards and Highlights

Honours were presented to industry leaders including George Pappas (Pappas Yachts), Alexandros Zeis (Motocraft), and the teams of Azimut Hellas and MG Yachts & Villas. A special feature this year was the 1000 Miglia Experience, the world-famous classic car rally, which made its first-ever stop in Greece, passing through Olympic Marine.

Growing Global Influence

Supported by the State and sponsored by EKO for a third consecutive year, the event continues to redefine Greece’s exhibition landscape, promoting quality, innovation, and networking. Lavrio’s Olympic Yacht Show now stands as a key point of reference on the global yachting map.
