Premier Marinas have been granted planning permission for the proposed £75m redevelopment of Noss on Dart Marina.
Noss on Dart was acquired by Premier in 2016 and comprises 37 acres of foreshore and woodland on the bank of the River Dart. Much of the site is derelict and the existing marina infrastructure is in a poor state. Premier’s plans will include creating a waterside site comprising a new marina with around 232 berths; a dry stack for 100 smaller motor craft; a boatyard with a 75-tonne boat hoist; 21 marine trade commercial units; a hotel, two restaurants and a spa; new car parking arrangements and a heritage centre to celebrate the site’s history. Premier’s plans also include a passenger ferry link to Dartmouth town.
CEO Pete Bradshaw commented: ‘The redevelopment of Noss on Dart is hugely important to us. We want to build something very special here. After all, this is a glorious site and the majority of it will remain in our hands for a long time to come.’
