Premier Marinas confirms £2m upgrade for Falmouth Marina

Premier Marinas has confirmed a major £2m investment at Falmouth Marina, with work beginning on 1 December 2025. The phased four-year project will deliver a full regeneration of all marina pontoons, planned carefully to minimise disruption for berth holders throughout the programme.

Pontoon specialists Walcon Marine will oversee the installation, supported by new electrical and lighting bollards from Sureline. Additional technology will also be integrated to support future system upgrades across the site. The investment marks a continuation of Premier’s long-term programme to enhance its UK marina network.

Over the winter months, the outer harbour will be dredged to maintain safe navigational depths. Alongside this, refurbishment of the marina reception will begin, creating a more comfortable and welcoming space for both staff and visitors.

Since purchasing the marina in 1998, Premier Marinas has delivered several major improvements. These include a dedicated boat lifting area, the incorporation of Port Falmouth Boatyard, additional pontoons, dry stack facilities, and upgrades to customer amenities. The core front-of-house team collectively brings 93 years of experience, helping sustain the marina’s strong sense of community and customer service.
