Offshore hull design built for stability in Atlantic conditions

The Stormforce 650 hull is derived from a lineage developed for operation in the North Channel and Atlantic waters rather than purely recreational use. The deep-V geometry, tube placement and weight distribution provide a soft ride in steep seas while maintaining excellent lateral stability both underway and at rest. The result is a boat that feels planted, predictable and capable of operating comfortably in conditions where many RIBs of this size would be backing off.

Advanced composite construction reduces weight and increases strength

The latest Stormforce 650 incorporates an updated composite construction which reduces overall weight while increasing structural rigidity. Improvements in the laminate schedule and internal structure allow the hull and deck to function as a more integrated composite system, improving efficiency and responsiveness while retaining the renowned Stormforce ride characteristics.

Fully equipped offshore RIB ready for work from day one

The Stormforce 650 is priced and specified as a complete boat rather than a stripped base platform. Many RIBs in this size bracket require a long list of optional extras before they are realistically ready for offshore use. The Redbay arrives equipped with the fittings, structure and layout required to operate at sea from day one, avoiding the hidden costs often associated with option-driven leisure boats.

Professional-grade build quality reflecting Redbay’s commercial heritage

The build philosophy reflects Redbay’s professional heritage. Heavy duty deck hardware, robust structural laminates and practical fittings are standard rather than optional. The boat is designed to withstand regular operational use rather than occasional recreational running.

Built-to-order layout options for leisure and commercial use

Each Stormforce 650 is built to order rather than supplied as a fixed off-the-shelf configuration. Owners can tailor the layout, seating, electronics and working equipment to suit their specific requirements, allowing the boat to be configured for leisure use, diving, wildlife tourism or commercial applications.
