ROAM Boats launch the C12 Dive Catamaran

ROAM Boats has introduced the C12 Dive Catamaran, a purpose-built vessel created specifically for dive operations and tender duties. Designed for professional divers, yacht support teams and operators in challenging environments, the C12 prioritises function, stability and guest comfort.

Designed for serious dive operations

The C12 features a shallow static draft of 0.6 m, an expansive open deck and a beach-lander platform that enables direct access to beaches and shorelines. Its generous beam enhances stability, allowing up to 14 guests and two crew to move comfortably, with circulation routes shaped around the needs of divers.

Key dive-focused design elements include dedicated tank racks, BCD donning stations and configurable gear storage. A large swim platform with heavy-duty steps supports safe water entry and exit, while the open deck space enables efficient tank handling.

Catamaran stability and offshore capability

The twin-hull configuration minimises roll and provides a wide, steady platform for offshore conditions. Compared with a typical enclosed tender, the catamaran design creates exceptional interior volume and additional working space.

Jet-drive propulsion reduces underwater disturbance, improving safety for divers and marine life, and enhancing operational control in sensitive areas. Comfort features include air conditioning, Starlink connectivity, modular shading and custom audio, alongside storage for water sports equipment.

Built to adapt to any operation

ROAM offers two finish levels: a filled and faired high-end specification suited to superyacht deployment, and a commercial-grade option for robust daily use. The modular deck layout enables rapid conversion from dive vessel to guest tender through removable benches, dive racks and storage units.

While there are catamaran tenders and multipurpose dive boats out there, not many have been designed entirely around divers. Most platforms are adapted leisure or guest tenders, but the C12 was conceived from day one for dive operations, and every detail serves that purpose.
