Autumn debut for all-electric cruiser

Sialia Yachts is preparing to launch its first full-electric Sialia 45 this autumn, with construction at the company’s Polish shipyard now in the final stages. The 14-metre carbon performance cruiser, powered by twin 300kW motors, promises speed, efficiency and sustainable engineering.

Power, range and charging

Capable of reaching 43 knots, the Sialia 45 offers a range of 55 nautical miles at 25 knots with the standard 500kWh battery pack, or 77 miles with an additional 200kWh endurance pack. A fast-charging system brings the batteries from 10% to 90% in just over two and a half hours (or around three and a half hours with the endurance pack). For extended cruising, biodiesel-compatible range extenders of 140kW or 350kW increase range up to 240 nautical miles.

Carbon technology and comfort

The hull and deck are built from advanced carbon sandwich epoxy using three infusion processes to achieve light weight, rigidity and durability. This approach also reduces noise and vibration, delivering a quiet and stable ride.

Layout options

Three versions will be available: Runabout, with a low-profile windscreen and open deck; Sport, a centre-console design with protective Top; and Weekender, featuring a glass deckhouse and climate-controlled saloon. Below deck, owners can opt for a galley, saloon or full-spec head with shower. Deck layouts include sunpads, configurable helm seating and social areas fore and aft.

Sustainable design

Sialia Yachts has focused on lifecycle responsibility, incorporating recycled cork flooring and other recyclable materials. Electric propulsion further reduces maintenance, with motors requiring only a grease change after 10 years. Batteries are rated for 3,000 cycles and carry a five-year guarantee, while the entire propulsion system is upgradeable as technology advances.
