Simrad AutoTrack Now Available Across More Radar Systems

Simrad broadens AutoTrack compatibility, bringing automated radar target tracking to more Simrad, Lowrance and B&G systems with enhanced awareness and seamless integration.

Simrad expands AutoTrack compatibility across radar range

Simrad Marine Electronics has confirmed wider compatibility for its AutoTrack feature, extending support across the full line of Simrad recreational HALO radars, excluding the HALO 20, and now including selected Lowrance and B&G systems. Originally introduced for the HALO 2000 and HALO 3000 open array radars, AutoTrack is now enabled on the Simrad HALO 20+ and HALO 24 dome radars, as well as their Lowrance and B&G branded equivalents.

AutoTrack identifies and tracks moving targets automatically, applying visual cues and trajectory lines directly to the radar display. A dynamic widget continues to highlight the most important alerts even when the radar pane is not in active view, helping skippers maintain situational awareness with minimal distraction. The system can track up to 50 targets at ranges up to 24 nautical miles.

Seamless integration with updated software

The feature is enabled by default in the latest software release and can be switched on or off via radar settings. AutoTrack operates naturally within the Simrad, Lowrance and B&G multifunction display interfaces.

Simrad: NSS Evo 3 and 3S, NSO Evo 3 and 3S with software version 25.1 or later
Simrad: NSX, NSS 4 with software version 2.1 or later
B&G: Zeus 3S, Zeus 3S Glass Helm with software version 25.1 or later
B&G: Zeus S, Zeus SR with software version 2.1 or later
