Spinlock launched their new VITO life jacket at the recent Annapolis Boat Show. The new VITO derives from the custom Deckvest VOR 170N life jacket worn by Volvo Ocean Race teams, and includes an all-new harness release system: HRS.
The Spinlock HRS is concealed yet easy to find and simple to operate, and gives a consistent release. The VITO also boasts the latest technology offering sailors enhanced comfort, fit and adjustment. It is easy to put on and adjust to size, and with a fully tailored fit, it feels lightweight and compact. The sprayhood is structured and fitted with a large window for improved visibility and reduced claustrophobia.
Spinlock’s James Hall commented: ‘The Deckvest VITO is a development of our Volvo Ocean Race Deckvest following testing over 45,000 miles in the world’s toughest ocean race. We enjoy the challenge of designing and developing new products that enhance and benefit sailors’ enjoyment and performance on the water.’
