University of Macerata launches first Nautical Marketing and Journalism Master’s Degree
The University of Macerata launches a new Master’s programme designed to train future specialists in nautical marketing, communication, and journalism…
Marina Manager Graham Bristowe is excited to be able to showcase the marina with a stunning display of more than 80 boats from over 50 brands, from 3m luxury tenders to superyachts up to 28m. Graham affirms: “Swanwick Marina provides the perfect, open waterside environment for the show with safe road-free access to all the boats.”

The marina is conveniently located on the beautiful Hamble River with 24h access to the Solent, offering over 300 floating berths and more than 100 berths in the dry stack. Construction is currently underway for the new Boat House which will offer both a café and a restaurant experience with views over the marina – due to open this Summer and much anticipated within the marina community.
Setting itself apart from conventional boat shows, the British Motor Yacht Show promises an intimate atmosphere for serious buyers. The transformation from marina site to boutique showroom takes meticulous planning and whilst many of Swanwick’s existing berth holders enjoy the buzz of the show, Graham and his team couldn’t do it without the berth holders’ kind cooperation to accommodate the exhibits for the show.
On site, the Saltings pavilion, provides a home for the UK’s largest selection of boat sales and brokerage companies including the British Motor Yacht Show Partners Princess and Sunseeker.
Premier Marinas invites everyone to visit their stand at the show for a drink and a chat about any of their 11 South Coast locations.
