Viggo Boats Appoints Vortec Marine as Exclusive UK & Ireland Dealer

Öregrund, Sweden – August 2025. Viggo Boats has appointed Vortec Marine as its exclusive dealer for the UK and Ireland, strengthening its presence in a market increasingly focused on sustainable marine solutions. 

Viggo Boats, renowned for their hybrid aluminium vessels, are designed for performance, durability, and innovation. The partnership with Vortec Marine, a respected distributor based in Swanwick and Gosport, brings together two companies with a shared commitment to quality and forward-thinking marine engineering.

Viggo’s line-up combines speed, safety, and sustainability: 

• Viggo C8 & C8.1 – Compact, high-speed craft (8.2m) reaching 45–65 knots. The C8.1 introduces improved ergonomics, hull dynamics, and a redesigned helm station. 

• Viggo X8 – A versatile open boat designed for family and social use, offering agility and efficiency. 

• Viggo C10 Offshore – A 10.95m offshore vessel with a deep-V hull, advanced trim systems, and capacity for ten passengers at 50–65 knots. 

• Viggo C11 Cruiser – The latest model, featuring an all-electric drivetrain and modular propulsion options for future sustainability. 

Each craft is hand-built in Sweden and designed for year-round reliability in demanding conditions.
