Wally's new wallypower50X

Wally has unveiled the new wallypower50X in a world premiere at the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show. The model represents an outboard-powered evolution of the well-known wallypower50, continuing the brand’s focus on combining innovation, performance and futuristic design.

The wallypower50X expands Wally’s motor yacht range with a more versatile interpretation of the wallypower concept. According to the brand, the model reflects its philosophy of balancing form and function, technology and emotion, and elegance with performance.

Signature Wally design

The new model retains the distinctive features that define the wallypower family. These include a vertical bow, sharp profile and extensive glazed surfaces designed to merge aesthetics with functionality.

Design details such as the brand’s ‘magic portholes’ introduce natural light to the interior while maintaining the clean exterior lines. The anchoring system is fully concealed, contributing to a minimalist appearance when the boat is at anchor.

The glazed superstructure and open deck aim to provide a balance between comfort and style. Modular design allows the boat to be configured for several roles, including chase boat, superyacht tender, day cruiser or weekender.

Expansive Deck and Social Spaces

Fold-down transom sides increase usable deck space by more than five square metres, creating a closer connection with the water. On deck, the layout includes two large sunpads and a dining area for eight beneath the glazed structure.

The design encourages informal socialising, with a lounge area and kitchenette supporting relaxed day use.

Below deck, accommodation includes a double bed, lounge area and a bathroom with a separate shower, enabling the boat to support weekend stays and mid-range cruising.

Mercury Outboard Performance

The wallypower50X introduces Mercury outboard propulsion to the Wally range. The standard configuration uses Mercury Verado V10 425 hp engines, delivering a reported top speed of 50 knots and a cruising speed of 34 knots (preliminary data).

An optional Mercury Racing V8 500 hp setup, installed on hull number two unveiled in Miami, increases performance to a top speed of 54 knots and a cruising speed of 36 knots (preliminary data).

The hull design was developed through collaboration between the Wally team and Ferretti Group Engineering to provide stability and control at higher speeds.

With the introduction of the wallypower50X, Wally extends its wallypower line into the outboard segment while maintaining its established design language.
