Yamaha strengthens White Shark partnership

Yamaha Motor Europe has signed a five-year full OEM agreement with French offshore boat specialist White Shark, formalising a renewed framework for a long-standing collaboration.

The agreement covers rigging and outboard engines across White Shark’s European distribution. In practice, this means Yamaha propulsion systems will be integrated across the White Shark model range, aligning the engine packages with the brand’s deep-V offshore hull designs.

Yamaha state, White Shark is as a builder known for bold styling, assured handling and practical open-deck layouts. Models in the range are aimed at anglers, coastal explorers and thrill seekers, with an emphasis on offshore capability, stability in challenging seas and dependable performance when conditions become more demanding.

Under the renewed arrangement, all White Shark models will be EmPowered by Yamaha. The partnership is intended to deliver integrated propulsion packages tailored to the brand’s sporty character and seaworthy design approach.

Focus on offshore capability

White Shark has built its reputation on strong character and offshore capability. Their deep-V hulls demand propulsion systems that match their ambition.

By EmPowering White Shark with Yamaha’s advanced outboard range, we ensure owners benefit from performance that inspires confidence in all conditions.

This agreement reaffirms Yamaha’s continued support of European boatbuilders whose design philosophies centre on dynamic handling and open-water reliability.

Fabrice Lacoume, Marine Director at Yamaha Motor Europe

The announcement positions the agreement as both a commercial commitment and a product integration strategy, linking Yamaha’s outboard range with White Shark’s established offshore platform across the European market.
