Viknes 10 Review: Award-winning 35ft triple cabin wheelhouse cruiser
Built for all weathers, this triple cabin 35 footer packs in the features. Greg Copp puts her to the test.
A handy new addition to your boating toolbox is the telescopic ½» drive wrench from Laser Tools. With a flexible ratchet head and ratchet lock-out button, when extended, the tool allows for a greater torque to be applied when loosening stubborn or corroded fixings without causing damage to the ratchet mechanism.
When used as a standard ½” drive, the smooth 72-tooth ratchet mechanism affords great accessibility by means of its flexi-head. Then, upon pressing a button to lock out the ratchet and slide the handle extension out from 455mm long to a full 630mm, the user benefits from the tool’s application as a ‘power bar’. The tool’s handle therefore has two fixed positions available, which makes it ideal for use on hard-to-access nuts and bolts. Manufactured from chrome vanadium for strength with a chrome-plated finish and knurled grip handle, the drive ratchet is available from any Laser Tools stockist.
