Windermere’s third sustainable race day introduced a new national class and underlined growing momentum behind lower-carbon powerboat racing.
BRIG’s new 8m luxury sports cruiser, the Eagle 8, made its global debut at this year’s Southampton Boat Show. An evolution of BRIG’s Eagle 780 luxury family sports cruiser, this new 8m RIB is powered by Suzuki Marine’s DF350A and features ORCA Hypalon fabric impression tubes, premium fixtures and fittings, and SeaStar hydraulic steering as standard.
Other highlights include its modern console, luxury helm and forward-facing bench seat; stern swim platforms and stainless steel telescopic boarding ladder; large cabin, hull and deck design maximised for storage; self-draining deck straight to sea; and automatic bilge pump.
