Mercury Marine’s Joystick Piloting system allows boat operators to control vessel movement through a single joystick interface that coordinates engine throttle, shifting, and steering functions. The system enables boats to move in any direction, including sideways movement and rotation in place, through SmartCraft technology that automatically adjusts multiple controls.
An integrated Skyhook feature uses GPS to maintain the boat’s position and heading against wind and current whilst the system is available for single-engine boats with basic steering control and multi-engine configurations that can coordinate up to six outboard motors.
