Windermere unveils new sustainable GT Mono Light class
Windermere’s third sustainable race day introduced a new national class and underlined growing momentum behind lower-carbon powerboat racing.

Taking place on 5th – 6th April and 11th – 12th April, from 10am to 5pm at Portland Marina. The event offers buyers the opportunity to explore a wide selection of brand-new and brokerage boats, both sail and power, ahead of the boating season.
Visitors can step aboard boats on display and receive expert advice from the sales team. The open weekends are designed for anyone considering a purchase, from first-time buyers to experienced boaters. Sellers are also encouraged to take part. Boats listed for the event will be showcased to prospective buyers, increasing visibility and the potential for a quicker sale. The deadline to register a boat for display is 31 March.
An additional offer is available through boatcare for those selling at the event. The Scrub & Lift package is available at a discounted rate of £24.00 per metre, helping sellers present their vessels at their best.
The open weekends aim to connect buyers and sellers directly at the marina, with a relaxed environment and access to expert guidance.
