Lomac expands the Turismo line-up

Lomac has completed its Turismo range with the introduction of the all-new Turismo 8.5, a new 8.5-metre RIB designed to sit between compact practicality and the features of the brand’s larger models.

The Milan-based boatyard says the model continues a project that began in 2022 with the Turismo 7.0, with each boat in the range aimed at a specific customer group while retaining shared design and construction standards.

Designed by Federico Fiorentino, the Turismo 8.5 carries the range’s distinctive heavy-duty military look, with sleek lines, minimalist styling and a focus on ergonomics and space optimisation.

Deck layout and features

The stern includes two integrated beach platforms with a central walkway, leading into a cockpit with a U-shaped dinette for up to eight people. By lowering the table, this area can be converted into a sunbathing space.

At the helm, split ergonomic seats serve the skipper and co-pilot, with an integrated fridge beneath. The bow provides a second sunbathing area with storage below, while the central console includes a compartment that can be configured as a chemical or marine toilet, storage hold, changing room or shelter.

Two T-top options are offered: a stainless steel frame with fabric cover, or a rigid fibreglass version using aramid and carbon fibres. The boat is rated to carry up to 14 people.

Performance and debut

The hull has been developed by Federico Fiorentino using CFD studies and validation tests. Engine options include single installations from 250hp to 425hp, or twin engines up to 2 x 200hp, with top speeds exceeding 50 knots.

Every new model is a step in a broader journey, in which design, engineering and product philosophy must remain aligned. It is this balance that we strive to maintain, regardless of the boat’s size. And the Turismo 8.5 fits into this context, with a size that is particularly strategic for the market.

Fabrizio Lo Manto, Managing Director of Lomac

The Turismo 8.5 is scheduled to debut at the Genoa Boat Show 2026, following a Mediterranean presentation tour from July.
