Windermere unveils new sustainable GT Mono Light class
Windermere’s third sustainable race day introduced a new national class and underlined growing momentum behind lower-carbon powerboat racing.

FLIR has launched the Ocean Scout Pro, a next-generation marine thermal monocular designed for public safety professionals and mariners. Featuring a 640 x 480 thermal detector, the device offers a 500-meter detection range and a 32-degree field of view.
The Ocean Scout Pro has an intuitive interface with a one-touch button for zoom, mode, brightness, and standby functions. It includes two eyecups for optimal fit and minimising light pollution. Users can wirelessly transfer images and videos via an accompanying app.
Built for durability, the monocular has an IP67 rating and can withstand a two-metre drop. It offers six hours of battery life per charge and supports USB Type-C and power bank charging. The compact design allows for easy portability, and it comes with a Molle-compatible carrying case.
