Forte 47 Gran Turismo makes its first impression

Sea trials are under way for the Forte 47 Gran Turismo, the debut yacht from Forte Yachts, ahead of its preview at the Palma International Boat Show and official world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.

Positioned as a highly bespoke 47ft yacht, the Forte 47 Gran Turismo combines striking design, flexible propulsion choices and a layout intended to push it towards the top of its segment. Powered in this test configuration by triple 600hp Mercury Verado V12 outboards, it has reached 47 knots during trials off Ameglia, Italy.

Acceleration is breathtaking and the ride is both stable and responsive in a wide range of sea conditions. Beyond the mere numbers, this boat is an absolute joy to drive and has incredible presence on the water. All of us at Forte Yachts are delighted with the team that has helped to turn our yachting philosophy into reality. The vision of distinctive design, incredible detailing, and superyacht quality makes the Forte 47 Gran Turismo a compelling platform.

Outdoor space and flexible living

Penned by Paolo Giordano, the yacht’s exterior centres on drop-down side wings that expand deck-level living to more than 40 square metres. These open up the cockpit, connect the bar and seating areas more closely to the water, and create additional bathing platforms. An electric pasarelle is hidden in the transom, while a large TV, fridge, icemaker and full-beam hardtop add further comfort on deck.

Interior layout and propulsion choice

Below deck, the all-aluminium construction allows flexible interior arrangements, with the standard layout offering two cabins and two bathrooms.

It is very unusual to find two cabins each with their own bathroom on a luxury yacht in this segment. This is a feature normally reserved for different boats, and marks a unique selling point of the Forte47. And for the interior to offer both good headroom and excellent storage is a triumph. We fully expect this generous layout to appeal strongly to both younger owners and families.

Owners can also choose between outboard Gran Turismo and inboard Volvo Penta IPS Lounge Deck versions, alongside an enclosed cockpit option for colder cruising grounds.
